User Verification

Workspace admin decides and configures what user verification will be used for all the users in organization. Only one type of verification can be used at a time in a workspace.

Supported user verifications are:

  1. Microsoft Azure
  2. Verification Link
  3. Verification Code
  4. Google
  5. Okta
  6. PingIdentity
  7. Duo
  8. Jump Cloud
  9. Custom SAML

1. User Verification using Microsoft Azure

If Microsoft Azure verification is configured for users in their workspace, Speerity client will open Microsoft Azure login page.

Client will start the verification timer of 10 mins and user must enter their credentials before timeout.

  • If user provides invalid workspace name, failure message will appear on screen.
  • If user provides wrong user credentials on Microsoft Azure login page, failure message will appear on screen.
  • If user is not part of the valid subscription, failure message will appear on screen.
  • For any of above cases or failure scenarios, reach out to your administrator.

User must use his/her valid Microsoft Azure credentials to login successfully.

Provide password on next window:

Click on Yes to stay singed in:

After successful Login, page will display success message and Client will start preparing user’s unique certificates.

Client uses SSO (Single-Sign-On) feature which allows user to stay signed-in and connected. If user logs out from Microsoft Azure account, authentication/verification may happen again.

2. User Verification using link

If verification link is configured for users in their workspace, Speerity client will send a link to user’s registered email ID and to mobile number. User can click on either email link or click on link received on mobile number to verify the account.

Client will start the verification timer of 10 mins and user must click on the link before timeout.

3. User Verification using Code

If verification code is configured for users in their workspace, Speerity client will send a verification code to user’s registered email ID and to mobile number.

Client will start the verification timer of 10 mins and user must enter the code on the client’s window before timeout.

For rest of the other SAML type verification mechanisms, user can follow procedures similar to Azure AD.

User Certificate Creation

After successful login, client will create user certificates, and prepare configuration. These user certificates will be only valid on current user machine with same user login credentials. If user tries to login to other machine/laptop using same credentials then client will automatically logout from old laptop/machine.

Service Connection

After successful certificates creation, Client will start preparing configuration. It will detect smart location (best and nearest Cyber Node available), and connect the service automatically.

Home Screen

After successful user verification, Client will be activated and home screen will be displayed on the screen.

Here are some of the features available on the Home Screen.

Start Button

Connect the service by clicking on the “Start” button visible on the UI Home screen.
By default Smart Location will select nearest available Cyber Node to connect the service.

If “Always-on” is enabled on workspace by admin, user will not be allowed to disconnect the service or logout from client.

Select a Server

Exium Cyber Nodes are located across the globe. Smart Location option selects nearest available server to connect the service.
In case user wants to connect to specific server in a country, then they can select the servers of their own choice from drop down list.

A popup displays with available servers, when user clicks on the drop down list. Users can also search for the servers.
In future, servers list will keep on increasing when we will add new servers in other locations/countries.

Map

Client shows you the location of the server you have selected on the map.

Client shows the location of the server user has selected on the map.

Duration

If client is in connected state, duration will show for how long user is connected to Exium SASE service.
If client is in disconnected state then it shows the duration for how much time user was connected in recent disconnected session.

Latency

If client is in connected state and user taps to toggle to see the latency, it will show the latency of the server the app is currently connected to.
If client is in disconnected state then it will show the current latency of your internet.
